Special Modes of CARE Dose 4D
For certain examination protocols CARE Dose 4D uses
limited tube current modulation, to meet specific con-
ditions, e.g.
• for Adult Head protocols the tube current is solely
adapted to the variation along the patient’s long
axis, but not adapted to the angular attenuation pro-
file.
• for Extremities, CARE Vision, syngo Neuro Perfusion
CT, syngo Body Perfusion CT and other special appli-
cations only angular tube current modulation is sup-
ported.
• for Osteo and Cardio protocols the mAs setting is
adjusted to the patient size and not modulated dur-
ing the scan.
