IB981

Passive Cotag keyring tag

The IB981 is a factory-encoded passive tag that does not include a bat-

tery. It can be used in combination with any Cotag reader. When it is

used with a Cotag hands-free reader‚ the reading range is approximate-

ly 29 cm. With Cotag proximity readers‚ the reading range with the

IB981 varies between 2 and 9 cm.

One of the major advantages of Cotag technology is that active and

passive cards can be mixed in the same system to provide ultimate con-

venience and cost-efficiency.

Note: The card number is printed on the back of the card.
