Clear/reset module − Effects

Following this memory reset, the CP retains the newly configured MAC address

and the retentive parameters. The CP is therefore immediately ready for

downloads using the IP address.

This has the following overall effect:

Data maintained on the S7-300

CPU.

Deleted data area

Factory-set MAC

Permanent

Rest to factory defaults − Effects

After resetting to factory defaults, the CP always retains the factory set MAC

addresses (as shipped).

The data in the C-PLUG is handled as follows:
